This is my collection of Growlers. A "growler" is a container of beer, typically around 64 ounces or so, that breweries, brew pubs, or any place that brews it's own beer sells to get fresh beer to it's customers. No one knows how they got their name, but it's rumored to be after the sound that grumpy old men would make if they didn't get their beer.

John Harvard's Brew House
This growler came from John Harvard's Brew House, a micro chain of brew pubs that operates about nine locations in the north east. This particular growler came from the Harvard Square location in Cambridge Mass. It was filled with their Helles Lager which provided us with a nice, easy drinking night cap one evening. Thanks to Mark for acquiring this one on his tour of new england!
